As a visual artist based in Victoria, Australia, I primarily create original oil paintings centred on the human figure, symbolism, and the natural world.

 

My work explores themes of transformation, inner experience, and the timeless questions that connect us across generations. Inspired by nature, classical painting, and enduring symbolic forms, each painting becomes part of an ongoing process of personal exploration and "inner alchemy."

Although painting has become my primary medium, I first spent many years studying the fundamentals of drawing before taking up oil painting in my twenties. This strong foundation continues to shape my approach to composition, form, and light. Wherever possible, I work from life and develop my own reference material, allowing each artwork to retain a sense of authenticity and direct observation.

My paintings draw inspiration from the technical mastery of the Old Masters alongside the expressive vision of artists such as Odd Nerdrum, Rembrandt, Zdzisław Beksiński, Edvard Munch, and Leonardo da Vinci. The result is a collection of contemporary figurative oil paintings that seek to balance traditional craftsmanship with deeply personal subject matter.
