Charcoal Drawings (Selected)

Drawing has always been the foundation of my art practice. Before turning to painting, I spent years drawing in pencil and charcoal, attending life drawing sessions and sketching ideas in my journal.

My charcoal drawings are created using willow charcoal, compressed charcoal, and white chalk, with highlights often lifted back into the paper using an eraser.
